Project: Contest Show TV Studio Set – Design & Production

Alice Scenic Studios carried out the design and production of a studio set that combines traditional Islamic motifs with a modern stage aesthetic for a religious and cultural contest program as a turnkey project.

  • Scope of Work:
    • Through turnkey project management, the processes of designing, engineering, producing, and installing the studio concept were managed.
  • Key Features and Design Details:
    • In the center of the stage, a large main decor structure with steps and arches, inspired by the form of a mihrab, was built.
    • The side wings of the set and the front of the judges’ desk were equipped with internally lit panels featuring traditional geometric patterns produced with the laser cutting technique.
    • In the background, calligraphic works were displayed on a large LED screen.
    • On the stage, a specially produced large and ornate rehal (book stand) was placed as a decorative element.
  • Materials and Techniques Used:
    • The main decor structures were created by cladding a metal skeleton with wood and composite panels.
    • On the floor, glossy black (piano black) surface coverings that reflect the stage lights were used.
    • 3D modeling and visualization software such as AutoCAD and 3ds Max were utilized during the design process.
    • Laser cutting and CNC techniques were applied for the precise production of the geometrically patterned panels.
    • Programmable LED lighting systems were used on the platform edges and within the decor, strengthening the dramatic atmosphere of the set.
  • Project Objectives and Benefits Provided:
    • An aesthetic and respectful studio environment was created, suitable for the spiritual atmosphere and seriousness of a religious and cultural program.
    • Traditional Islamic art motifs were combined with modern stage technologies and lighting designs.
    • Spaces that are both aesthetic and functional were created for contestants to perform and for jury members to conduct their evaluations.
    • Visual richness and depth were provided in the broadcast, enabling the viewer to connect with the spiritual soul of the program.
