Project: Dino Exhibition – Design & Production

Alice Scenic Studios has carried out the turnkey design and production of a museum-quality exhibition with a dinosaur theme, offering visitors an immersive paleontology laboratory experience.

  • Productions Within Scope:
    • A large-scale, anatomically detailed T-Rex skeleton replica with a metallic finish, serving as the main focal point of the exhibition area.
    • Baby dinosaur sculptures hatching from eggs inside an incubator unit.
    • Various dinosaur skull and bone replicas that complete the exhibition concept.
    • Thematic decoration that makes visitors feel like they are inside a research laboratory, including mannequins and period-appropriate props.
  • Materials and Techniques Used:
    • The T-Rex skeleton and other fossil replicas were produced using fiberglass (FRP) or resin casting techniques for high detail and durability.
    • The metallic skeleton appearance was achieved with special effect painting and patina techniques.
    • 3D modeling and engineering software such as ZBrush, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD were utilized during the design and production processes, adhering to the anatomical structure of the dinosaurs.
    • CNC machining and 3D printing technologies were used for the precise production of the skeleton parts.
