Project: Grand Sapphire Resort – Lobby Sculptures & Decor

Alice Scenic Studios has carried out the turnkey design and production of a series of artistic sculptures and decors located in the main lobby area, reflecting the luxurious and prestigious identity of the Grand Sapphire Resort & Casino.

• Productions Within Scope:
  • Large-scale, stylized female figure sculptures placed on the reception desks, symbolizing the brand’s “precious stone” concept.
  • Other slender and abstract female figure sculptures placed in the lobby area, holding a diamond.
• Materials and Techniques Used:
  • The main bodies of the sculptures were produced with the fiberglass (FRP) molding technique to achieve smooth and fluid forms.
  • Special metallic paints and patina effects were applied on the surfaces to give a cast bronze appearance.
  • The large diamond/sapphire objects presented by the sculptures were manufactured from resin casting or faceted acrylic material to reflect light.
  • 3D modeling software such as ZBrush, Rhino, and AutoCAD, and the CNC machining technique were used in the design of complex figures and the preparation of their molds.
