Alice Scenic Studios has carried out the turnkey design and production of large-scale and elegant lighting installations and thematic décors that reflect the spiritual and celebratory spirit of Ramadan for Istanbul Airport, one of the world’s most important aviation hubs.
- Productions Within Scope:
- Large-scale illuminated panels and signs featuring “RAMADAN KAREEM” and other thematic texts at the main terminal and entrances of the airport.
- Large-scale and elegant light sculptures suspended from the terminal’s ceiling voids, reflecting the Ramadan theme with crescent, star, and lantern motifs.
- The cladding of the terminal’s main columns with illuminated patterns, integrated with the building’s architecture.
- Materials and Techniques Used:
- The main construction of the illuminated panels and large-scale suspended objects was produced using aluminum and steel profiles.
- Professional LED lighting products that are energy-efficient, long-lasting, and safe for large public spaces were preferred throughout the project.
- Software such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max, and Dialux were utilized during the design and engineering phases for the static calculations and visualization of the large-scale installations.
