Project: MarkAntalya AVM – Christmas Décor & Lighting

Alice Scenic Studios has carried out the turnkey design and production of a monumental and modern Christmas lighting concept that has become a city landmark, covering both the interior and exterior spaces for MarkAntalya Shopping Mall.

• Productions Within Scope:
  • A huge and colorful “light wall” installation, consisting of thousands of programmable LEDs, completely covering the mall’s exterior facade.
  • A giant, artistic Christmas tree sculpture in metallic gold, which visitors can walk through, located in the mall’s atrium.
• Materials and Techniques Used:
  • The main supporting structures of the giant indoor tree and the exterior light wall were produced from aluminum and steel profiles with static calculations made.
  • Professional string and strip LED lighting products, which are energy-efficient, programmable, and fully durable for outdoor conditions (IP67 rated), were used in both installations.
  • 3D modeling, engineering, and lighting design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Dialux were utilized in the design, engineering, and project planning of these large-scale and complex structures.
• Project Objectives and Benefits Provided:
  • A large shopping mall was equipped with a monumental and modern lighting concept that would become a city landmark during the Christmas season, both indoors and outdoors.
  • A unique experience was offered to visitors with a giant and artistic Christmas tree installation indoors, which they could walk through and take photos of.
  • A dynamic and unforgettable visual feast, noticeable even from a distance, was created by transforming the mall’s exterior facade into a giant “light wall” made of programmable LEDs.
  • Integrated solutions were produced that contribute to the venue’s daytime aesthetic (golden tree) and make the nighttime atmosphere magical (light wall).
