Project: News TV Studio Set – Design & Production (Bloomberg HT)

Alice Scenic Studios has carried out the turnkey design and production of a multi-zone and modern studio set that reflects the global and technological identity of the brand for the international financial news channel Bloomberg HT.

  • Scope of Work:
    • Through turnkey project management, the processes of 3D designing the studio concept, engineering, production, and installation were managed.
  • Key Features and Design Details:
    • Modern anchor desks in V-shapes and angular forms were designed and positioned at different points in the studio.
    • Throughout the set, numerous large-format LED screens and transparent/hologram-effect presentation screens were used to facilitate the flow of financial data and live graphics.
    • The main presentation area was built on a raised circular platform with a glossy and reflective floor.
    • On the studio ceiling and walls, sound-absorbing acoustic panels and decorative lighting elements carrying the brand’s colors and adding depth to the space were placed.
  • Materials and Techniques Used:
    • The main structure of the anchor desks and decors was created by cladding a metal construction with composite and acrylic panels.
    • Metallic and glossy lacquer paints were preferred on the surfaces for a modern and technological look.
    • Modeling and visualization software such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max, and Rhino were utilized during the concept’s 3D design and project planning processes.
    • CNC cutting techniques were applied in the manufacturing of parts with unique geometries like the V-shaped desks.
