Project: Puma x Pokémon – Showcase & In-Store Installation

Alice Scenic Studios has carried out the turnkey design and production of thematic installations used in-store and in the showcase for the launch of the special collaboration collection between the two iconic brands, Puma and Pokémon.

• Productions Within Scope:
  • Large-scale, high-detail 3D sculptures of iconic Pokémon characters such as Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur, displayed on a thematic base.
  • A custom-bent neon/LED light symbolizing Pikachu’s electric attack, placed around the characters.
  • Special product stands integrated into the sculpture to display products (shoes, t-shirts, etc.) from the Puma x Pokémon collection.
  • A multi-layered and dynamic showcase design utilizing both physical sculptures and numerous digital screens.
• Materials and Techniques Used:
  • All Pokémon character sculptures were produced with the fiberglass (FRP) molding technique, faithful to the animation designs.
  • The vibrant colors and expressions of the characters were achieved with precise artistic painting and airbrushing techniques.
  • Pikachu’s electric effect was made using custom-shaped neon-effect LED tubes.
  • Digital sculpting and modeling software such as ZBrush, Maya, and AutoCAD, and the CNC machining technique were utilized for the production of the characters’ 3D designs and molds.
