Project: SC Overvecht, Netherlands – Christmas Themed Productions

Alice Scenic Studios has carried out the turnkey design and production of large-scale and illuminated Christmas themed decors that transform the common areas of the mall into a center of attraction for Shoppingcenter Overvecht in the Netherlands.

• Productions Within Scope:
  • A large-scale Christmas train, a Ferris wheel, and a carousel installation, which are the main elements of the project, completely covered with LED lights.
  • A large Christmas tree decorated with lights and other decorative objects that complete the concept.
• Materials and Techniques Used:
  • The main skeletons of large-scale and complex structures such as the train, Ferris wheel, and carousel were produced using metal construction and wood.
  • The structures were covered with weather-resistant materials suitable for wrapping thousands of LED lights.
  • 3D modeling and design software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks were utilized during the design and engineering phases for the layout planning of the large-scale structures.
  • Energy-efficient, long-lasting professional string LED lighting products suitable for outdoor use (IP67 rated) were used.

  • A shopping mall was transformed into a center of attraction for families and children around a fairytale theme during the Christmas season.
