Project: Seasonal Decors – Pumpkin & Halloween Theme

Alice Scenic Studios has carried out the turnkey design and production of large-scale thematic sculptures that transform public or private areas into a fairytale world for the autumn and Halloween season.

• Productions Within Scope:
  • A large-scale, detailed, and fantastical pumpkin house, serving as the centerpiece of the project.
  • Cute character sculptures, such as a pumpkin boy and a gnome, that complement the pumpkin house concept.
  • Decorative stacked pumpkin (Jack-o’-lantern) sculptures with different facial expressions.
• Materials and Techniques Used:
  • Large, voluminous sculptures suitable for the outdoors, such as the pumpkin house and characters, were produced with techniques like hard coating over CNC-machined styrofoam (EPS foam) or fiberglass (FRP) molding.
  • Detailed artistic painting, airbrushing, and aging techniques were applied on the surfaces to create realistic textures like the wooden door, stone path, and pumpkin skin.
  • The unique 3D designs and mold models of the characters were prepared using digital sculpting and modeling software such as ZBrush and Rhino.
  • Protective varnishes and paints providing high durability against outdoor conditions (rain, sun) were used in all productions.

  • A fairytale-like atmosphere special to the autumn and Halloween season was created for the outdoor areas of a shopping mall, theme park, or private property.
  • Large-scale and cute thematic sculptures were presented for visitors, and especially children, to interact with and take photos with.
  • Visitor traffic and social media engagement were increased by enhancing the seasonal charm of the venue.
  • Durable, safe, and long-lasting seasonal decorations of high artistic quality, suitable for outdoor conditions, were produced.
