Project: The Land of Legends – Christmas Décor & Lighting

Alice Scenic Studios has carried out the turnkey design and production of a large-scale and monumental New Year/seasonal décor and lighting project for The Land of Legends, one of Turkey’s most important entertainment and attraction centers, highlighting the venue’s iconic architecture and open spaces.

• Productions Within Scope:
  • A giant, illuminated Christmas tree and large-scale illuminated reindeer sculptures, positioned in front of the castle silhouette in the theme park’s main square.
  • A large “light ceiling” installation with the text “LEGENDARY NEW YEAR,” created from thousands of lights, over the park’s main walkway.
  • Entrance archways designed in the form of illuminated gift boxes.
• Materials and Techniques Used:
  • The main supporting structures of the giant Christmas tree, reindeer sculptures, and light ceiling were produced from aluminum and steel profiles with static calculations made, durable for outdoor conditions.
  • Professional string LED lighting products, which are energy-efficient, programmable, long-lasting, and suitable for outdoor use (IP67 rated), were used in all installations.
  • 3D modeling, engineering, and lighting design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Dialux were utilized in the design, engineering, and project planning of these large-scale and complex structures.
• Project Objectives and Benefits Provided:
  • Turkey’s most important entertainment and attraction center was decorated to offer its guests an unforgettable and magical festival atmosphere during the Christmas and New Year season.
  • The nighttime atmosphere was completely transformed by combining the venue’s iconic architecture with monumental installations such as a giant Christmas tree, illuminated sculptures, and a “light ceiling.”
  • Iconic spots were created that would generate high engagement on social media and greatly contribute to the venue’s seasonal promotion, which visitors would want to photograph at every corner.
  • Large-scale, durable, safe, and energy-efficient professional light installations, spreading over large outdoor areas, were designed and installed.
