Project: Theme Park Thematic Decors 

Alice Scenic Studios carried out the production of large-scale and iconic thematic decors that enrich the visitor experience for a theme park as a turnkey project.

• Scope of Work: 
  • Through turnkey project management, the design, production, and assembly of different thematic figures such as the giant book, Kaptan Gaga’s airplane, and Kaptan Gaga character figures were carried out.
• Materials and Techniques Used: 
  • The giant book figure was produced by applying a protective hard coating durable for outdoor conditions and detailed artistic painting techniques on CNC-machined styrofoam (EPS foam).
  • Objects with glossy and smooth surfaces, such as Kaptan Gaga’s airplane and the Kaptan Gaga characters, were manufactured using the fiberglass (FRP) molding technique.
  • On all figures, special paints and varnishes providing high durability against UV rays and weather conditions were used.
• Project Objectives and Benefits Provided: 
  • Iconic decorative objects were created for different areas of the theme park to attract visitors’ interest and strengthen the storytelling.
  • Social media engagement was encouraged by creating unforgettable photo opportunity areas (“photo points”) for visitors.
  • Durable, high-quality, and safe thematic figures suitable for outdoor conditions were produced.
  • Artistic and large-scale fabrications that support the park’s overall atmosphere and fairytale identity were carried out.
