Project: Le Grand Direct & Debrief Studios

For the “Le Grand Direct & Debrief Studios” project, Alice Scenic Studios undertook the production of versatile and technological sets that serve two different program identities within the same studio space.

  • Scope of Work:
    • Through turnkey project management, the engineering, production, and assembly processes for the different set designs were managed.
  • Key Features and Design Details:
    • For “Le Grand Debrief,” modern, C-shaped, and internally lit debate desks suitable for a multi-guest format were designed and produced.
    • For the “Le Grand Direct” set, a more traditional news/analysis layout was established with a main anchor desk and a separate presenter’s lectern.
    • The sets were supported by wide and curved LED video walls, providing a dynamic broadcast background.
    • The project was produced with an infrastructure compatible with Augmented Reality (AR) graphics, where 3D objects are projected onto the floor.
  • Materials and Techniques Used:
    • Metal construction, glossy-surfaced wood and composite panels, acrylic/plexiglass materials, and large-format LED screens were used.
    • Custom paint, coating, and integrated LED lighting solutions reflecting the specific color palette of each program (purple-orange and red-white) were applied.
    • CNC cutting and modular production techniques were used to allow for easy transition or reconfiguration between sets.
  • Project Objectives and Benefits Provided:
    • A single studio space was transformed with maximum efficiency to serve the identity and format of multiple programs.
    • A technological infrastructure that enriches visual storytelling and elevates the viewer experience with Augmented Reality (AR) integration was provided.
    • Modern and functional sets were created that reflect the unique brand identity and atmosphere of each program.
