Project: Magazin D Anchor Desk – Design & Production

Alice Scenic Studios carried out the production of the uniquely designed anchor desk, located in the center of the studio, for the “Magazin D” program.

• Scope of Work: 
  • The manufacturing of the uniquely formed anchor desk, custom-designed for the program, was carried out.
• Materials and Techniques Used: 
  • In the body of the desk, wood or wood-veneer materials were combined with internally LED-lit, colored, and translucent acrylic panels.
  • The tabletop was finished with lacquer paint or a composite material for a glossy and smooth appearance.
  • Precise CNC cutting and assembly techniques were applied to flawlessly combine the curved forms and different materials.
• Project Objectives and Benefits Provided: 
  • An iconic anchor desk was produced to be the focal point of the studio, reflecting the modern and stylish identity of the “Magazin D” program.
  • A high-quality and aesthetic piece of furniture was manufactured by combining different materials (wood, acrylic, LED lighting).

In addition to its functional use, an artistic and unique object that contributes to the broadcast aesthetic was created.
