Alice Scenic Studios carried out the turnkey production of a large-scale, concept-focused sculpture series designed with a surrealist approach, blending the worlds of gastronomy and art into a unique visual experience.

Productions Within Scope

• A deconstructivist fish sculpture featuring a realistic head and tail combined with a golden skeletal body.

• A large-scale garlic sculpture, partially peeled to reveal a glossy golden interior.

• A monumental egg sculpture showcasing a flawless, mirror-finish golden surface.

• A giant knife sculpture embedded in its pedestal, with a black handle and a glossy golden blade symbolizing power and precision.

Materials and Techniques Used

• The main forms of the sculptures were produced using fiberglass (FRP) molding and hard coating over CNC-machined styrofoam (EPS foam), ensuring smooth and intricate surfaces.

• PVD coating and automotive paints with chrome/gold effects were applied to create mirror-finish golden surfaces.

• Realistic elements, such as the fish head, were enhanced through detailed artistic painting and airbrushing techniques.

• All 3D designs and mold models were meticulously prepared using SolidWorks, ZBrush, and Rhino for engineering precision and artistic accuracy.
